Green Tea Extract for Weight Loss
Green tea extract is one of the herbals that promote many different types of healthy conditions; this extract is also good for weight loss due to one of the compounds in the green tea extract known as catechins. There are also antioxidants in this herbal remedy that are known for increasing metabolism and this means it promotes weight loss.
There have also been studies on the benefits of green tea extract and it was published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition that the people involved in a study that consumed the extract each day lost more weight in a three month period that people that did not use the green tea extract. There have also been studies done that shows women dieters benefit from the green tea extract loosing on an average 5.3 pounds versus 2.9 pounds in a three month period.
The green tea extract can alleviate water retention, but some people using the herbal remedy for weight loss will find that it could cause diarrhea and nervousness.
